Our friends at First Baptist Church, Powder Springs will be hosting a Living Proof live simulcast from 9:30 am-5:00 pm. Tickets are $15 and include a Chick-fil-a lunch. The Worship Arts Ministry is looking for new team members to join our Tech Team.
We have two types of positions to be filled: 1) Sound board technicians and 2) PowerPoint team members. The sound board techs serve on a monthly rotation (once every month) and rehearse with the band on Wednesday nights beginning at 8:30 pm and Sunday mornings at 8:00 am. This position is responsible for running the sound board and overseeing all sound aspects for the Sunday morning worship services. The PowerPoint team members also serve on a monthly rotation and rehearse with the worship arts team on Sunday mornings beginning at 8:00 am. This team is responsible for displaying the visual aspects shown on Sunday mornings - lyrics on the screen and occasional video elements. Previous experience is appreciated, but not necessary. Awana at OHBC
Beginning Wed, September 8th from 6:30-8:15 pm
O range Hill welcomes kids in grades K4-6th to join us for a time of praise & worship, large & small group Bible teaching, choir lessons, and games. To register your child or sign-up to volunteer, please fill out the registration form below and drop it in the offering plate, any blue offering box or turn it into the church office by Sunday, August 29th. If you're interested in helping in our AWANA program this year, contact Lin Harrison at 770-948-2303 or l.harrison@orangehill.org.
Each child is asked to pay annual dues in the amount of $12.50 and purchase a Vest (K4-2nd) or T-shirt (3rd-6th) for $7.50. Please submit payment at the time of registration to allow us to have materials for each child by the first session. Checks should be made payable to Orange Hill Baptist Church.
Dig “deep” into God’s Word - Hebrews 4:12
On the third Wednesday of each month, our deeper Bible Study will worship with a time of Prayer and Praise. We’ll be singing a combination of hymns and praise songs while lifting our prayer requests up to our Lord. Join us at 7:00 pm in the fellowship hall.
