Our mission is to praise and worship God, disciple believers and lead our neighbors and the nations to eternal life in Jesus Christ!

Kids Kingdom Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt

Orange Hill's Kids Kingdom Consignment Ministry
Easter Egg Hunt  Saturday, April 19, 2014

Inviting the families of Orange Hill, New Genesis, Walton Community, Alta Mill and Forest Glen to bring their children birth to 5th grade on this day
as we celebrate our risen Savior and fellowship together.

The Easter Egg Hunt will feature 3 egg hunts:
Birth to Pre-K
Kindergarten to 2nd Grade
3rd Grade to 5th Grade
We will also offer a craft for the kids to make that will tell the Easter story.
Bring your cameras to have pictures with the Easter Bunny!

Come join in the fun! We are still looking for volunteers to help reset the egg hunts, manage a cake walk and other various things!

From now until Friday the 18th, we will be collecting more plastic easter eggs
and non-edible egg fillers (stickers, erasers, etc.)

WE ESPECIALLY NEED MORE PLASTIC EGGS AND CANDY FILLERS!
(We are estimating 150 kids … at 20 eggs per kid, that's 3000 eggs!)

You can also make a monetary donation if you would like
that will help purchase water bottles, additional candy and helium for the balloons.

See Meagan Stanfill for more info or to volunteer.
You can email her at meagan.stanfill@gmail.com.

Loving Generously

A Learning Experience for the Whole Church
April 27 through May 25

Loving God and loving one another are inseparable. When we offer our lives to God, He direct us to give them to one another. In other words … if we wish to live generously, we must love generously.

Join us for a five Sunday journey of learning what it means to give ourselves to one another in love.

During the Loving Generously Experience all Youth and Adult Sunday School Groups will meet together in the Fellowship Hall for study and discussion from 9:45 am until 10:45 am.

The Pastor's Loving Generously Sermon Series will parallel and explore further the Sunday School study.

VBS 2014

VBS 2014: Agency D3
"Discover. Decide. Defend."
K4-12th Grade
June 9-13 | 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear". 1 Peter 3:15

What kid doesn't want to be a special agent and use high-tech gadgets and tools to discover the truth? While at Agency D3, kids can put their investigative skills to work as they collect and log evidence about the life of Jesus. As special agents, they will examine eyewitness reports, physical proof, and biblical accounts to uncover and defend the truth about who Jesus really is.

From Cheryl Haire: VBS Director
I am excited by the thought that another year has passed and it's time for another VBS! Year after year many of you decide to take this journey with me… and I am greatly humbled. Together we have learned to put together a quality program and I am amazed every year at how God puts together a group of such creative artists, organizers, cleaners, teachers, singers, tech support, musicians, prayer warriors, and willing hearts. We have watched many of our VBS children grow up and outgrow the program. The past couple of years, we've included a high school program because a lot of the community kids who grew up coming to our VBS have STILL wanted to continue to come. And what's really exciting is that the next generation, children we taught, are now teachers! Last year we even had a several community kids come back and help! It is so fun to see children's hearts become tender to Jesus. Thank you. You make it look so easy.

We will have our first VBS meeting on Sunday: April 13, at 1:00 right after church. It will be short and sweet … I just want to go over a few things like budget and schedule. I will also hand out your curriculum.

Let's open the evidence vault together! Please let me know if you're interested in volunteering! You can contact me at 678-522-0977 or cherylhaire@gmail.com

To volunteer: Must have completed 7th grade and must sign up for a volunteer spot ahead of time.
