Spring Church Picnic

Annual Church Picnic – Sunday, May 3
Spring has sprung! Join us after the service for our annual spring picnic at the Linwood Pavilion on the church grounds. The Deacons will be providing hot dogs, hamburgers, condiments and drinks. Please bring a side dish and a dessert.
 

Saturday at South Cobb

Saturday at South Cobb – Saturday, May 9

12:30-3:30 pm

This event will give raising 8th Graders in our community the opportunity to preview some of what South Cobb High School has to offer. Orange Hill is helping by providing water, sno-cones and popcorn as well as facilitating some games and activities.

We’re looking for 10 adult volunteers.

Graduate Recognition

Graduate Recognition – Sunday, May 17
We will be honoring our church members who have graduated from high school or college with a special recognition during the worship service. Please contact Judy in the church office by Friday, May 1 with the graduates name and contact information.

By May 10, please email Torre Stanfill at t.stanfill@orangehill.org with the following:

For our high school graduates, please email the name of the school, 2 photos (a baby picture and a current one) along with the information you’d like shared (special school awards, top 2 activites and or clubs, future plans, etc.).

For college graduates, please email the name of the school and the degree earned along with any future plans you’d like to share.

 

Women’s Spring Tea

Women’s Spring Tea – Saturday, May 30

We’d like to invite all the ladies in our community to our Spring Tea.
Bring a friend and join us for a lunch, a time of fellowship
and teaching from a guest speaker.
Tickets are $10 and they will be available until May 24.

We would love for you to host a table.

June 8th – 12th 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm | Volunteer Meeting – April 12 at 1:30 pm

Take the journey! This summer, VBS takes your kids to uncharted territory where they will begin to understand that obedience to God can lead them beyond the expected. So, toss the map, stick close to your guide, and prepare to listen for God’s direction in this journey that is unknown to us, but known by Him.

 

Camp Create

bsi_Picture1Join us from May 26th through July 31st 2015 for fun, games, and an academic curriculum that will take campers on trips around the greater Atlanta area weekly.  Art, Math, Science and more are presented to campers in a fun and engaging format.

Awana

Orange Hill welcomes kids age 3 to grade 5 to join us for a time of praise & worship, large & small group Bible teaching, scripture memory and games.  Registration forms are on the desk in the Worship Center lobby.  You can drop them into the offering plate or one of the blue boxes in the hallway.  Each child is asked to pay annual dues in the amount of $12.50 and purchase a Vest (K4-2nd) or T-shirt (3rd-6th) for $7.50.  Please submit payment at the time of registration to allow us to have materials for each child by the first session.  Checks should be made payable to Orange Hill Baptist Church. (Scholarships available.)
