Sunday Mornings

We believe that God loves His church and He calls each of us to be a part of the body of Christ. One of the things that means is meeting together to study His word, bring our offerings of praise and adoration to Him, and to serve one another.

Each Sunday morning, our Senior Pastor, Spencer Haygood, shares a Biblical message of who God is and what that means personally for each of us.

Worship Arts

The Worship Arts Team leads the praise and adoration portion of our services with contemporary music and audio/visual enhancements that are designed to help create an authentic atmosphere of worship. Worship Arts image

AWANA for children K5-Grade 6 in the Adventure Island room. Parents, please bring your children to the AWANA Room before the morning Worship Service begins. Those children in Sunday School will be taken to AWANA by their teacher.

Join us each Wednesday night for our new study time, deeper. This interactive study will be led by Pastor Haygood in the Fellowship Hall beginning at 7:00 pm.

Imagine having a life that is full of meaning. A life that is full of purpose. A life that is being transformed to think, act and live like Jesus Christ. Now imagine an entire community of people commited to that same kind of life. Orange Hill Baptist Church is committed to becoming a family of faith committed to this kind of life.

At Orange Hill, we believe that the best enviroment for life-change to take place is in a small group. Our desire is that small groups would provide an authentic atmosphere for spiritual growth, ministry, and Biblical community.

We have two types of small groups in which you can belong:

ACTS groups
Small groups for adults that meet every Sunday morning 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. on campus at OHBC.

Community Groups
Small groups that meet at various times and places throughout the region.

Find out how you can get connected today.

Our Community

Being a part of the community means a lot to us at Orange Hill. We believe that God has called us to be a church of influence - to reach out to those around us with the love of Christ.

Here are just a few of the ways that we're connecting with our community:

Partners in Education with Sanders Elementary
Through mentoring programs, volunteering to read and help with comprehension and math skills, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of the students and families at our local schools. Each Christmas we sponsor a Blessing Tree that reaches out to families in need.

Vacation Bible School
Every summer we host a VBS where hundreds of kids come for a week of fun-filled activities including games, music, arts & crafts and bible studies to learn more about the love of God.

Community Block Parties
Twice a year, we join with other local ministries and community services to host a block party with free food, games and activities designed for the entire family.

Cobb County Senior Services
At Christmas and on the National Day of Prayer we host lunch and special programs here at Orange Hill for the senior citizens of Cobb County.

Our World

Through sponsorning missionaries around the world in places like Cambodia and Thailand and short term mission trips where we send teams to places like Bolivia, Romania, and Burkina Faso, we believe in sharing the gospel of Christ's love.
