SELLER INFORMATION & REGISTRATION
-Seller Guidelines-
Our sellers receive 70% of the items sold, minus a $7.00 selling fee which is taken out of the seller's check. Checks are received on Saturday when your remaining items are picked up. Sellers can also monitor how many of their items have sold during the sale using our online system. First time sellers are required to at least one 4 hour volunteer shift during the sale. Many shifts are available and you can sign up online when you register as a seller.
We are now accepting quality used clothing for the Spring and Summer. All items must be odor free and without stains, holes, missing buttons, or obvious wear. Please submit only quality items. Your items will be viewed by hundreds of buyers!
Previous sellers will no longer use our Excel inventory/tag printing program. All sellers will use the link found below. Inventory sheets will no longer be required.
PLEASE PRINT THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS to use as a reference while you are preparing your items.
We will accept:
• The minimum amount of items submitted is 25.
• The maximum amount of items allowed is 200.
• Children's clothes (girl: infant-16/juniors 1-9, boy: infant-18)
• Shoes, limit 8, pair in like new condition. Must be clean.
• Maternity clothes, limit 3, in style outfits.
• Socks- limit 4-5 pair per zip lock bag with no more than 3 bags.
• Rated "G" or "PG" DVDs. DVD must be in original box and be child appropriate.
• Rated "E" video games.
• Music CDs must be church and child/teen appropriate.
• Fully dressed dolls- limit 5.
• Stuffed animals- limit 3 Liscensed characters only.
• Toys, bikes, nursery items must all be clean, have all parts and working batteries.
• Toddler beds and nursery furniture (No twin or larger beds and/or furniture will be accepted).
• Booster seats and infant travel systems must be less than 5 years old, have manufacture information sticker with model number and year labeled, and be accident free.
• Books-Limit 10 individual or sets.
We will not accept:
• Dragonball Z
• Pokemon
• Yu Gi Yo
• Harry Potter
• Bratz
• Location or vacation spots (however, college wear is acceptable)
• Costumes or clothes that are scary or non-church appropriate (i.e. witches, warlocks, ghosts, goblins, monsters, etc...)
• Car seats other than booster seats or infant travel systems. No 3-point harness seats.
• The committee has the right to reject any items that do not meet our standards.
Preparation Checklist:
Use Wire Hangers Only!
• Launder and iron your clothes. Separate girl and boy and sort by size. Please use number sizes and not XS, S, M, L, or XL.
• Safety pin 2 or more items together so that they will not get separated. Safety pin pants to the top arm and outside of the hanger so they do not slide. No straight pins, paperclips or staples. Only use wire hangers to save on space.
• Securely fasten pants to the top of the hanger using safety pins.
• Use ziploc bags for socks, hair bows, small toys, and other small miscellaneous items and accessories. Tape your bags with clear packing tape for safe keeping and safety pin tag to outside of bag.
• Clean all indoor and outdoor toys and nursery items. Make sure everything is in working order and have batteries. If batteries are dead or missing we will not allow item to be sold.
• All prices need to be 50 cents or more before reduction. Please make all prices in 50¢ increments. In pricing consider the condition of the item. Some helpful hints:
If you have brand new items with original tags it should be ½ the original price.
If the item is in excellent condition it should be 1/3 the original price.
If the item is in good condition it should be about ¼ of the original price.
Toys, games and videos/DVDs sell well and most sell before Saturday.
Please do not try to sell items with stains, holes, missing items, missing buttons, out of date, out of season, excessive wear, or with smelly odors. Remember most of our sellers are shoppers and we want the best quality items to be available for everyone.
• Print your tags on white, pink, yellow, green or blue (pastel) paper. Do not mark out or scribble corrections of price or item number on your tags. Please do not use White-Out. If you make a mistake, you will need to reprint the tag. Tags from previous sales may not be used. To ensure correct tracking of sales, all sellers must print new tags.
Print the sizes in numbers instead of XS, S, M, L, or XL. Indicate slim with an "S" after the size.
If an item has shrunk from laundering, write the true size it fits.

Safety pin tags to the top right hand corner of ziploc bags.
Write a detailed description of the item being sold so that it can be distinguished from similar items should the tag come off.
If the item is to be reduced on Saturday, please highlight the discount "Yes" on the tag.
If the item is to be donated if it goes unsold, state YES next to the word donate. Donations go to C.A.M.P. (www.svcamp.org) or Lighthouse Community Ministries (http://www.fbclight.org/ministries/missions/community-ministry/).
Securely attach tags to larger and odd shaped items with tape.
• You can now register for your drop off time online. Please be on time for your appointed drop off slot. Plan to spend 30 minutes checking in your clothes as well as approximately 15 minutes to place your items on the sales floor in their proper areas.
• If you cannot make your appointed check-in time please change it online to any available slot. If you decide not to sell and fail to call (770-948-9388 ext. 53) and cancel before the cancellation deadline of of February 25, 2012, you will forfeit your opportunity to sell in our next sale. You can also cancel online.
• Please be sure to pick up any items left over on Saturday between 5:30pm and 6:00pm (PLEASE NOTE THE CHANGE FROM PREVIOUS SALES!). If you do not pick up your items before 6:00pm, they will be donated to charity. While every effort will be made to keep your items safe, the committee of the Kids' Kingdom Consignment Ministry would like to remind you that we are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. We will not reimburse sellers for lost or damaged items.
