I'm New Here
What To Expect on Sunday Morning
We’re glad you’re interested in finding out more about us. We’d love for you to join us on a Sunday morning, and we want to start by helping you know what to expect when you attend services at Orange Hill.
Our worship services are centered around expository Biblical preaching (preaching that aims to exposit, or explain and apply, the meaning of the Bible) and is a blend of contemporary and traditional worship styles. A typical service lasts anywhere from 75 – 90 minutes in length and includes announcements, worship music, prayer, a time of offertory, and preaching. We also celebrate believer's baptism and communion at various times throughout the year.
When and where do you meet?
We meet at 9:45 a.m. for Sunday School and 11:00 a.m. for Worship every Sunday morning. We are located at the intersection of Austell Rd. & Anderson Mill Rd. in Austell, GA.

When should I arrive and where do I park?
We recommend that you arrive 15 minutes before our gatherings. That should give you enough time to check in your kids and join us in the worship center before the service begins. You can enter the parking lot either via Anderson Mill Rd. or Austell Rd. Please park in the lot that is located in front of the church adjacent to Austell Rd., where you will find our main entrance to the Worship Center.
(Our sister church, New Genesis Church, meets in the Chapel, our older sanctuary located on the right if you are facing the church from Austell Rd. and shares our parking lot.)
What should I wear?
You’ll find people are dressed in a variety of ways, from casual jeans to dressy “Sunday best”, so wear whatever you feel most comfortable in. We are much more concerned with having the opportunity to get to know you than how you are dressed.
What about my kids and students?
During the 9:45 a.m. Sunday School hour, we are excited to be offering The Gospel Project® for Kids & Students which immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation.

What about weeknight gatherings?
We meet on Wednesday evenings with opportunities for adults and children to learn more about God’s Word. Starting at 6:45 pm, (based on the school year calendar) we welcome kids K4 to grade 5 to join us for AWANA, a time of praise & worship, large & small group Bible teaching, scripture memory and games. For middle school and high school students, we have GodWard, also at 7:00 pm. At 7:15 pm, Pastor Haygood leads Grounded, an in-depth Bible study for adults that digs deep into the Scriptures.
We also meet on other nights of the week for various small groups and Bible studies for men and women.
What do you believe?
Orange Hill is a member of the Southern Baptist Convention, holding to and living out a strongly conservative and evangelical Protestant theology of Christianity.

Who are your leaders?
We are an elder-led congregation with a staff of full-time and part time pastors and leaders.
